Simplicity and Focus
We offer only one kind of service: representing you in your domain name dispute resolution. That incorporates a few practices, but not too many. This allows us to focus on perfecting successful complaint and defense strategies through experience.
We work both with trademark owners and domain registrants.
Trademark Owners
You have a registered trademark or a common law mark with rights arising from long use in the marketplace. Someone is using your mark in their domain name without authorization. They may be advertising similar goods and services or entirely different ones. They may simply have a webpage parked with links and might be offering it for sale.
These are situations which violate UDRP Policies and Rules. You can file a complaint to initiate arbitration over ownership of the domain name and wrest the domain from the bad actor.
We are skilled not just in UDRP rules but also the nuances of trademark law. We leverage this to present incisive argument supported by reliable and proven evidence.
Domain Registrants
As a domain owner, you have agreed to be bound by ICANN’s arbitration policy and thus must submit to UDRP arbitration. This means you must defend ownership of your domain if an entity challenges it. Failure to defend a complaint will usually result in the loss of your domain. However, if your registration and continued use of the domain and associated website are legitimate, then there are likely bases to defeat a domain name dispute resolution complaint.
